Gases near the state of liquefaction are called vapor; vapor that liquefies with an infinitesimally small temperature drop is called saturated steam, while vapor that requires a specific temperature drop to liquefy is called superheated steam. Being a good heat carrier, steam is needed in many fields, primarily in industrial applications. In line with the intensive use of steam in pharmaceutical plants, the installation of efficient steam systems is necessary.

Technically, steam systems involve many crucial aspects such as water quality, pipe gradients, expansion measures, condensate collection systems, deaeration systems, waste heat recovery, and so on.
